At Illumus, we develop custom luminaires and made-to-measure lighting solutions for architecture, interior design and hospitality projects.
From this know-how, we create collection models and complementary interior elements, including mirrors, partitions and tables, with or without integrated lighting, designed to respond to the language, scale and requirements of each project.
OUR VISION
Illumus was born from the fusion of light, form, materiality and space.
We develop bespoke decorative lighting and interior elements for architecture and interior design projects with character, based on the belief that every environment should have soul, form and intention.
Each project begins with an understanding of the space: its scale, function, existing materials, intended atmosphere and the design language defined by architects and interior designers.
From this understanding, we develop solutions that balance visual presence, construction quality and architectural integration, from one-off developments to scalable solutions, and from bespoke lighting to the elements that complete the interior.
Rather than simply adding an object to a space, we seek to create elements that belong to the project and complement it through function, materiality and architecture.

Every area of our work is guided by the same attention to detail: understanding the project, defining the right presence and developing solutions that are coherent with the language of the space and with the study carried out in collaboration with architects and designers.

PROCESS AND COLLABORATION
We work closely with architects, interior designers and lighting designers, following each project from the initial understanding of the space through to the definition of the solution.
Each solution is developed through a balance of aesthetic intention, function, scale, materiality and architectural integration.
SPATIAL ANALYSIS
We study the scale, function, materials, light and atmosphere of the space, while respecting the design language defined for the project.
PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT
We develop the proposal and the respective quotation, considering proportion, materials, finishes, architecture, budget and feasibility.
DESIGN AND PRODUCTION
After the proposal is approved, we transform the developed solution into the final product, with close attention to detail, finishes and execution quality. Where applicable, we respect the confidentiality, authenticity and intellectual authorship of each bespoke development.
PROJECT INTEGRATION
Each element is designed to belong to the space, completing the environment with visual, functional and material coherence.
SUSTAINABILITY
Illumus develops and manufactures decorative lighting solutions and elements for interiors, adapted to the identity of each project, the scale of the space and the needs of each client.
Our approach is based on conscious production: thinking before producing, selecting materials and finishes carefully, and developing solutions that respond to function, durability and architectural integration.
We prioritise solutions designed to endure, avoiding excess and waste whenever possible, without compromising quality, aesthetic presence or technical feasibility.
Rather than treating sustainability as an absolute claim, we understand it as an ongoing practice of responsibility, careful decision-making and attention to detail throughout the entire process.
